Draught is calculated basis low tide. Official draught for Banjul port is 8,5 mts which is restricted by a sand bar located between buoy n°2-3.
At top of high water, vessels can cross the bar with 9.2-9.4mtrs. 
Water density : 1,025 (reducing to 1,020 during rainy season).
ISPS : level 1 / Weather : Rainy season July-October / State owned stevedoring.
