Djibouti Dry Port is located 2 kms from the Sea Port. It has a total area of 20 Ha. The Port of Djibouti is located on 11-35 degrees North 43-09 degrees East of Djibouti and has excellent nautical conditions. Indeed, the anchorage offers interesting depths between 10 and 40 meters and a well sheltered by a cor al reef. The Port of Djibouti benefits from a natural protection by cor al reef that plays a role of breakwater structure. The benches of cor al reef which are close to the port absorb the agitation of the waves and offer deep area and quiet water. The Marine Department in Djibouti Port works 24/24hrs and they are in charge of the welcoming ships coming in the Port. They also manage the dangerous goods & cargo and prevent against the pollution. The shipping agent has to send the manifest 48 hours before the ship call.  / ISPS : 1
