NOTE 1: ANGO-ANGO : Not used anymore. Explosive cargo currently discharged at Matadi Port provided pre-advice to Harbour master.
NOTE 2 : Matadi berths 1, 2, 3, 4 are currently closed due to dilapidation of berths structures.
NOTE 3 : Matadi 5,6,7 theorically allocated to PC vessels but due to current lasting congestion, these berths are indiscriminatelly allocated to all vessels calling Matadi.
NOTE 4 : Berth 9 : for general cargo and grain with priority to vessels with wheatflour.
Current drafts are 21'00 high tide/fresh water up and down the river / All berths are available for containers if necessary / ISPS : Level 1 / Weather : Heavy thunderstorms and torrential rains fall during rainy season : Mid-October to Mid-May / State owned stevedoring.

Boma port is located on portside of Congo river. The river can be entered directly from the sea in deep water. Transit time from Banana to Boma is approximately four hours depending on river current and ship's speed. Boma port is located on portside of Congo river. / Drafts : Up the river is 21'00 high tide fresh water and down the river is 22'04 high tide fresh water. / Draught is calculated on high tide / ISPS : Level 1 / Weather : Heavy thunderstorms and torrential rains fall during rainy season : Mid-October to Mid-May / State owned stevedoring.

Draught is calculated on high tide / ISPS : Level 1 / Weather : Rainy season from Oct 15 to May 15. During rainfall, all harbour activity ceases
Water density : Banana Cial Wharf and Banana River : Low tide : 1.010 - High tide : 1.025 / Muanda terminal : 1.012 on the surface (2m) due to Congo river current - 1.025 below the surface.
